42. The meaning of LAN!

** This is a Sheffield Students’ Union event, you need to be a student or affiliate member of the Union and a member of SLUGSoc.**

Right that is the boring information out the way…

****************What to expect?****************

– Half of a 2m table to sit at
– Super awesome internet
– Big multiplayer games (50 man Unreal tournament anyone?)
– Tournaments and Prizes
– Pub quiz
– Committee members keeping an eye out for your stuff! (we have yet to have anyone lose anything, get to know your neighbours too!)
– A place to sleep in a room separate to the main room (dark and quiet.)

****************What to bring!*****************

– Your computer/Laptop/Console
– All your cables to make your gear work
– 1 multi-plug power adapter
– Money for pizza/food
– Headphones (NO SPEAKERS)
– Food and Drink (We will have a tuck shop for caffeine and sugar junkies and all sold at LOW prices!)
– Sleeping bag if you plan on making use of the sleeping room
– Game face.
– Games installed (there is nothing worse than waiting to download/install games whilst others are playing!

We have Slugs copies of some games so people can play without owning the game themselves.
